Biography
Marcus was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany.
He resides with his family on beautiful Vancouver Island.
Professional education: Germany, the U.S. and Canada.
In his 20 - year career as a professional photographer, Marcus has gained considerable expertise in the field of portraiture, wedding photography, architectural photography, commercial and corporate photography.
His photographs have been published in brochures, in-house publications, magazines and newspapers. Many of his photographs have been used in presentations and aided to win prestigious awards.
The enthusiasm for his career as a photographer has not diminished in 20 years.
His personal passion is fine art black and white photography.
Marcus is not a photographer who uses only one camera for everything.
Instead, he works with several specialty cameras, for whatever the assignment requires.
His favorites are the world-renowned Rollei cameras with their German engineered Zeiss lenses, which are legendary for their optical performance.
