Marcus is one of the most experienced portrait and wedding photographers on Vancouver Island and one of the few professionals who specialize in black & white film based photography. Though his specialty is fine art black & white photography, he also works in colour if required.

He has photographed weddings for an international clientèle - Japan, USA, England, France, Germany, New Zealand and Australia. His corporate assignments have appeared in magazines, publications and advertisements in Canada, the U.S and Germany.

For most of his wedding and portraiture work, Marcus prefers the use of professional medium format cameras. Their much larger sized negatives, provide beautiful tonal quality and exquisite image details.
His black & white photographs are real silver prints, expertly crafted in a traditional darkroom.
No computer manipulation is used - only time honoured skill and darkroom technique.
His black & white photographs have an incredible tonal richness, with a depth that is uncommon in today's digital world.
